indieover Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 i noticed they announced the winners every 3 days. which i think is better. cause it is quite tiring sometimes to check the winner daily. so to give more chance for us to claim the prize since sometimes we tend to forget to check the result daily. so every 3 days of announcement is quite better for me. Guest Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 glad to know that I was one of the winners of the daily active poster contest on Feb 19th, well, I have sent the cash out request yesterday for the same, and also as I have reached the cash out limit I have made the general MEF cash out request too, hopefully I should get paid for both the requests this week, the winner prize money $0.25 and the usual payment a $2.50. Guest Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 in my experience, MEF has paid contest prize money within 24 hours after request, so I have noticed that they pay their contest winners much faster than they usually pay to the general cash out requests, well, I am still waiting from last two days to get paid the contest prize, the reason for this small delay can be that I have posted my request for the prize money on weekend, anyways glad to get selected for the active poster contest again and again. Guest Posted February 28, 2011 Share Posted February 28, 2011 I have been an active member on MEF, that whenever I was selected as a winner for the active poster contest for any day, immediately I used to claim the prize money once the mod notifies me with a visitor message about that, but last time as I was offline for a week, I was late to request my prize money for the day 19th, I requested it on 26th, well, I just hope to receive the cash prize without any troubles. Guest Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 sad that my contest prize request was rejected, due to the reason that I have sent request for it after four days from the winning day, according to the active poster contest rule, the winner must claim his prize money within 2 days once he was notified about his win, first of all, I was unaware of my win on feb 19th and I was online after 4 days on 26th and claimed the prize money and the request was rejected. indieover Posted March 1, 2011 Share Posted March 1, 2011 actually you can claim the prize only till the next day after the announcement was made. so not actually 2 days. but a bit less than that. and not 4 days . so it is important to visit the contest announcement of winners daily. though quite hard to do that. but i am trying to. they don't always manage to notify us of our win. so better check it yourself. I think that will be better if the forum planned to increase rate per post in this forum from 2 cents per post to 3 cents per post. I am sure that will give impact to activity of its members. indieover Posted March 2, 2011 Share Posted March 2, 2011 i jsut checked the daily activity contest winner thread. and was sadden there is a spammer that posted porn on the thread. and the porn pictures are so big. i was wondering if i won. and i can not go through that thread as i don't want others think i am looking at those pic. so i was not able to check if i won something. hopefully the admin will be able to delete the spam post and ban the spammers.
