Can you really trade without emotions..?.YES
myregister replied to showrov1993's topic in Forex General Discussion
It is freaking hard to trade without emotions considering that is the part of our daily life. Yes is a bit impossible but it is better as always to control your emotion and don't annihilate it. So the conclusion is we cannot trade without any emotions involved, everything will be fine as long as we able to control it. -
Since long term foreign exchange trading based on momentum then the right timing surely pays off. This is the hardest part of long term trading such as swing. Timing in fact overall is the aspect that you can count, if you often made a good timing to open and close the position even as scalpers you already optimized your profit.

Mini account with its low minimum deposit is pretty good idea and according to me it will give a newbie more flexibility to trade and the most important one mini account will attract newbies attention. Micro lot size is pretty good idea offered by lots of brokers out there, so we can still trade with tiny capital.

For your sleeping time, i think that is depend on the strategy and technique you use. If you are news based trader like me, it maybe affect your sleeping time but once again there's another factor for that which is the place where you live. If you were scalper who didn't care of the news, i think that is just affecting the way you see economy especially the global one as whole.

It is obvious that we cannot separate those two accounts. Demo account will be exist forever alongside real account. It is because brokers gain benefit from demo account which become a back test for newcomers that may use the real account later. It will dramatically improve the number of the clients.

How to become a successful trader as soon as possible?
myregister replied to TekiJIa's topic in Forex General Discussion
Discard that kind of thought, there is no shortcut for success. You must learn and earn. Learn in demo account and in real account also earn in real account. If you want to be a successful trader, focus on your trading and do a review. See if you can apply some fixes and improve from that part. -
Long term trading for newbie will be more profitable
myregister replied to euro's topic in Forex Newbies
Long term trading for somebody who think long term trading is profitable, it doesn't matter whether those are newbies or veterans. Veteran scalpers will always be profitable trader. But yes, in matter of volume long term trading is having bigger profit target compared to typical scalpers per position they open. -
Want to secure your profit? Well you can use stop loss and also trailing stop is a good idea. Imagine this scenario where your profit is at 500 pips but your TP is at 700 pips. If you set trailing stop for 200 pips, your SL move towards 300 pips securing the profit. This is a breeze and it is automatically happened without your intervention at all.

why many people see forex trade as gambling?
myregister replied to rockstar's topic in Forex General Discussion
Forex and gambling has similar proprietary which many people only focus on. Speculation is the key here which actually the main core of forex which similar to gambling guessing or prediction or whatever it called in gambling. Gambling lack risk management or a strict one where you can control the loss, while forex has that feature which make it bearable. -
Is making profit consistently easy?
myregister replied to Anne Morris's topic in Forex General Discussion
Possible but very hard and for sure exhausting and it is not something that all newbie could achieve. Based on my own experience, you can make daily profit but that would be last for few days before you start crumbling and lose and lose more. The last line is making profit consistently in foreign exchange which well known as risky business is not easy at all. -
Based on my own opinion i think that everyone can experience losses but i think this is normal considering that people is human and not some kind of Superhuman. This is a good step to learn more because loss is also the part of learning, even yes we are trying to avoid that as much as possible in later stage.

myregister replied to andry777's topic in Forex General Discussion
You know the one that move the market is news and this is around 85% based on some sources i found so far. Some even said 90% of the market movement because of the news which is an economic news is usually the result of one country's economic performance and its forecast of economic policy. -
The price of gold still showed a slight increase in trading session Thursday this morning following the release of FOMC minutes earlier this morning. The US dollar slipped as the minutes highlighted the problem of low US inflation. Spot gold prices rose around 0.2 percent to $ 1,292.91 an ounce. Total gold price increase from the previous trading session reached 0.3 percent. Meanwhile, gold futures for December delivery climbed as much as 0.6 percent to $ 1,296.10 per troy ounce. Policy makers at the Fed, according to minutes of the FOMC meeting held on 19-20 September 2017, are engaged in a rather tough debate in determining the prospect of rising inflation. They also discussed possible problems when the Fed rate hike was forced to slow down.

United States Dollar Fundamental Analysis(including USDX)
myregister replied to myregister's topic in Fundametal Analysis
The minutes of the September FOMC Meeting just released last night failed to prop up US Dollar and thus weakened the world's superpower currency against other major currencies. Although it does not disturb the probability of an increase in interest rates at the end of the year, the minutes reveal the concerns of the meeting members in case the low inflationary conditions will last long. In the minutes of the September FOMC Meeting, it was revealed that a majority of US Federal Reserve officials are still projecting a rate hike this year, as it is unlikely that there will be any shocks that will keep the economy "off track". They also assess the salaries of employees will continue to increase. Meanwhile, the latest Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTs) data is also disappointing. JOLTs which became the barometer of labor demand in the US market, showed a decline in August with achievements only 6,082 million, below expectations at around 6.125 million. The previous period's data was also revised down to 6.140 million. In response to this situation, US Dollar Index (DXY) closed down about two consecutive days yesterday to around 92.898 from 93.290 in the previous day. It seems that the Dollar index is still slipping to around 92.866. -
bitcoin What is Bitcoin?
myregister replied to Moderator's topic in Cryptocurrency General Discussion
Future but decentralized? I think it is more like less centralized aka federalized. There are still big players which act as miners, they are the one who gain bigger control to this currency. Not centralized for sure, but you will find there are like 4 or 5 biggest exchangers that playing important part. I heard BTC want to launch BTCGold? LOL for what sake they want to launch it? BTC is fiat then, right?- 43 replies

@sidejob : couldn't agree more about your first post in this page. That is hit on the spot. It is all about the mind. If you don't put your ind straight you won't accept small profit. I know for someone under deadline this will be some kind of pressure but remember in forex it is better to make small profit than big loss.

why many people see forex trade as gambling?
myregister replied to rockstar's topic in Forex General Discussion
Comparing forex and gambling i see that forex is more forgiving because you can apply a risk management and an analysis that will help you a lot. But in gambling all is pure luck, well there are some mathematical aspect plays but the majority depend on luck, there is no news or rumor that help us to set some indicators, all are guessing. -
whether you like positive or negative slippage?
myregister replied to uncle gober's topic in Forex General Discussion
Well i couldn't agree more with you about that since i also think that is not an illegal nor unethical way since you are the one who control it. You're right about the last result. All people want to make profit as much as they can, and getting more and more positive slippage is preferable in this case rather than negative slippage. -
Do you have an alternative to forex?
myregister replied to adil007's topic in Forex General Discussion
I think it is a good step for people to think forex as part time job. Forex as additional income is the part of security plan. You stick with your safe main job and may give you "just enough" earning. Talking about the alternative of forex, there are lots of we were talking before one of them is stock trading. -
Can you really trade without emotions..?.YES
myregister replied to showrov1993's topic in Forex General Discussion
Stay calm is the privilege of experienced traders and somebody who undergo extensive training to control their emotions while trading. We can't trade without emotions but we can trade with controllable emotions and stay calm. By doing this analyzing the trend is much easier for you. -
If you able to utilize the demo account from the very first time to its fullest i think that your scalping would be much better. Scalping is basically about how fast your click and how good you at analyze the trend in very short term range. If somebody asking you about whether scalping is profitable or not, just say "depend on you".

Why do you think people are scared of investing in forex?
myregister replied to Levie's topic in Forex Newbies
Fake reviews are out there, even in big retail sites such as Amazon have quite amount of fake reviews. This is actually one of the reason why people scared of investing their own money in forex because they afraid one day or just in few weeks after they invest or when they want to withdraw the broker starts to act fishy. -
Forex will be profitable if you able to make profit consistently and at the same time able to drop the rate of your losses. If you want to learn about forex start from reading its beginner material first and then open a demo account for practicing, after that spend like 7-8 months to trade there. You can do the same thing with Stock trading too.

I think by relying on bonus only people will find difficult to expand. If you want more expansion, then use your own money. It is way faster and also more reliable. The bonus in some brokers are cheap bonus which have a lot of hidden rules you need to follow. If you have small capital it seems you need bonus as your additional point.

Forex is for anyone technically. Forex is open business, anyone can move into it as long as you have an ID card and capital to start trade. Forex is suitable for me because that is one of the most flexible business i've ever seen, i can trade tonight or this morning which is not a big issue to me instead it gives me more advantages.
