It is definitely the best to use the long term supports as stop loss but the problem with that sometime is that you may have to risk so many pips if the support is far from your entry point.

I agree you can get money from forex forums like fxfred. After maybe the third payment and you now have like $50, then you can start trading and keep posting in the forums so that your capital in the market can get up to like 100 dollars plus and I think with that, one should be able to make something reasonable if all goes well.

I will even rather prefer to get money like from forex forums to invest in the forex market and start trading with it. One million is to me just too much to invest in a business like forex wher you can loose so much in a single trade. i agree with that that you can increase your capital if you have someone who is good at trading and can trade for you like a managed account . But even then, it should not be huge amounts. It is better if it is gradual.

That is the way most new traders feel. Some times it may even seems like your stop loss was targeted deliberately as the candle will just simply touch and pick your stop loss then retrace. Hey, it is still better to use stop loss because yes most trades will eventually retrace but what if it retraces after all your capital is finished and you are forced to stop completely. i perfectly agree it is generally better to trade with the money that you can afford to loose and if you gain then, splendid one can start to pile it up. Trading with a sum that is significant to you like borrowed money or a chunk of your life savings will only increase your anxiety and will make you feel really bitter and loose interest in forex. i agree especially because controlling the emotions is the most important key after adequate knowledge to successful forex trading. Another reason why i feel demo accounts perform better is because people has high amount to trade with in their demo account compared with the real account. It will be easier to risk more amount and enter some markets that are very wide.

Yes, trend is very important and most traders rely on support and resistance levels to place their trades and that is why those levels are very important. Basically the market will follow those patterns unless affected by some fundamental events.

As for me I do not take forex as a business and i will not advise any newbie to. It is better to just first have it as a side stuff then, if you become very good at it, you can make it as a side business and probably a full business later on. This is because forex for me is very risky and that risk can be reduced with knowledge and experience.

I think people should just be moderate with the way they post and especially on that forum where points deduction is common. I usually post about five posts in there in a day and sometimes even less so that posts can always look relevant.

I think it will be like people should exercise their good judgement in the number of posts they make per day because if the site fails we will all loose. You can imagine someone saying he makes about a hundred posts per day. I mean to me this is too much and the essence of the forum will be lost if most people are posting in this manner. To me yes I can compound my account especially if my starting capital was small in the first place. However, if I started with an average capital then, I will not compound until I have withdrawn my capital and some profits. After then I can start to compound a percentage of what I have left.

Yes, those are the advantages of forex. to be comfortable with trading and the trading platforms themselves and to really understand all the forex principles and put them into practice. I quite agree with you. forex calculator is a very good tool. Also how much you invest will depend on how much you are willing to risk. that amount that will not throw you off balance even if you loose all of it.

As a newbie, it will be so unwise to invest huge amounts in forex unless you are perhaps a fraudster and did not work so hard before you get that money. A new bie will definitely make mistakes because mistakes are parts of learning. Now if you make mistakes with huge hard earned money, then, it may be disastrous.
