    I agree perfectly with this point and that is something that most traders do not take note of while doing demo trading. To get the optimium result from demo , we must do demo with an amount that is similar to what we can afford to invest. This will help us from having false hopes of the amount of profit that we can make in the business,

    The last one (Fxopen) is quite popular i must say because i see it on so many forums. However, I think it will actually save you a lot of stress to just go to the forex section of this forum and look at the discussions on different brokers. Through that, you will be able to know not just thjeir commisions but other features, both good and bad of different brokers.

    We need to see those periods that we are making small amounts in profit as part of the learning period. It is even an achievement for a new trader to be able to make some consistent profits daily, no matter how small the maybe. As we get more experience, we can then decide to gradually increase our capital and therefore our profit potential.

    On the contrary, I believe that short term trading is more fatiguing than long term trading. In long term trading, all you have to do is just analyse your market probably once in a dayand then place your trades. As long as you have very good money mangement technigues, with take profit and proper stoplosses in place, then you can just go ahead and do other things while the trade is running for some days.

    Well that will sure be a very rare and unlikely scenerio. Then again, it is not just the brokers that a trader trades with. For example, for the non dealing desk brokers, our trades do not even stay with them. Rather they have like a network of brokers and other institutions that are joined together in executing those trades. Simply, the brokers generally do not have anything to do with our trade perse.

    Yes, I am back to posting here after some times and happy that the activity here is on a high note. I hope it will continue like this and more members will also be more active here. It is a good thing that the payments are still fast also and it is very encouraging for we members.

    Does it then mean that people are active rather in the other non paid to post sections, or that the forum is just dull itself. I was just considering trying out the forum to see how it goes. but if low per post is now going to be added to low activity, then it may not be so much fun there.

    But the reason why I do not do tasks also is because the tasks are uasually very small paying especially for international members. They usually have some sign up offers for as little as 2 to 5 cents. Even some tasks offer 1 cent . It is not so encouraging. I think if one uses that time for posting, one will be able to make way more than those amounts.

    Yes I too prefer the trailing stop to take profit. There are times when you set a take profit and you find outthat the market eventually moved a lot of pips ahead of you take profit. using a trailing stop will help you to lock and protect your profit. At the same time, it will help you to makethe maximum profit possible from a particular trade.

    Some of the ways we can get control over our emotions is by not investing too much money than we can afford into forex. It will be better to invest somethingsmall then carefully try to build that up into a big investment. Also, we should not have the mind that we are going to hit it big in a short time. This kind of mindset will sure make us nervous and anxious while doing our trading.

    I agree it is better to first of all start with a small capital. If one is then lucky to be successful, then you can compound the whole or part of your profit depending on your preference and situation. But I still feel that it will sure take years before a newbie can dream of making $1000 in profit daily.

    Each individual do have strategies that works best for them and that is fine. As for me i prefer to look for a strong support or resistancelevel and then put my stop loss just afew pips away from that point. Of course one can combine other tools like the fibonacci retracement to be more certain of the point to place the SL.

    The problem I have with the forum is basically with their payment processor. I do not have issues with the number of posts per day. Because it will be nice to see payment proofs before one can get too seroius with the forum.

    I am still struglling to reach my first payout onthis site. But i hope that by two days time I should be able to achieve that. I am more active in the GPT too and I guess the rate decrease in that section has a little effect on me. But it is still okay.

    But why are you guys not starting new threads especially since you get rewarded when your threads become popular. Or is their a limit to the number of threads that can be strated in a day?

    It is not so easy to make a reasonable number of osts in the forum. Especially with the fact that their is a limit of minimumof five meaninful lines per post. Now for a forex newbie who is still learning that will be a real hard job to get so many five liner posts and I think that is why so many people are yet not on the site or not active on the site.

    i am still pretty new on the site and have not been so active. But could the said low activity be due to points deductions. I have been reading on different forums that most people's point get deducted beofre payment. Maybe that is why people are discouraged.

    I made a payment request since the sixth but ithas not been treated. i am justhoping it is because of the weekend and he should treat it today since today is monday. Then again I juststill wonder why he deducted points from some members just because they had some inactive refs.

    Of course within a particular trend there will always be movements up and down but if we have read the trend correctly then the overall movement will be in the direction that we have read. And this is were it will be very useful to know where to place a stop loss so that one's stop loss will not be picked while one is still correct in ones trend judgement.

    That is true it is always better to trade small and steady. For me if I think I will risking too much for a trade then I will probably just let that trade go and patiently wait for another opportunity. We should not think that we have to take advantage of any opportunity even if it involves risking so much. Other opportunities will always come.

    i agree it is the forex experts that can win these contests. That is good for them though because it will be like professor's niche where so many 'stuffs will be moved'
