Yes, older brokers are much reliable because they have been present in the market for a long time without being banned and still hold on to their regulation. For example, I trade with an ASIC broker FP Markets that has been active since 2005 and also have regulation from cysec and St.Vincent.

I trade with FP Markets currently, the spreads are good, and surprisingly their commission cost per lots are lower when compared to other similar brokers.

Choose a broker that can be used based on your capital and also if the leverage is suitable for you. Before that, it is better to research the choice of broker and always use a regulated broker. I'm a scalper from Australia; I prefer FP Markets, an ASIC broker with a maximum leverage up to 1:500. They are also regulated by Cysec, and traders are immune to leverage changes during later stages.

That is highly risky, and I will never use such brokers that offer higher leverage like 1:3000 because if failed, the loss will be higher, and the chances of winning are really thin when using such high leverage brokers.
