The choice is based on the trader and the advantage the broker brings to them. I trade with FP Markets because of their tight spreads that are even stable even during high volatile market situations. I mostly trade with EURUSD, so using FP Market is an advantage for me when trading any high volatile pairs, and the execution speed is fast.

I use an MT4 platform to trade forex since the MT4 is more flexible to trade currency pairs, and using a good broker like FP Markets can be an advantage because of their stable spreads and fast execution.

Does anyone else find their spreads similar? I currently trade with both brokers and their spreads seen similar but regarding trading conditions FP Markets is better.

It depends on the leverage being used and if the trader is experienced or a beginner. If a beginner trader trades using higher leverage, the risk is high, whereas an experienced trader is aware of the risk and will be able to manage the loss.

I agree with AndrewJ. FP Markets is a better broker because they are not only regulated by ASIC but also have an Cysec and offshore licence with St.Vincent. The main reason I started trading with them is because of their spreads in EURUSD starts from as low as 0 pips for most parts of the day.

The MetaTrader 5 is a universal platform that can trade in centralized and decentralized markets, whereas the MT4 platform is a lower version of MT5 and many traders prefer trading with it because it can also be used in the mobile version.

Hi DonConcesso, FP Markets is a suitable broker for scalping. Their spreads are lower and consistent even during volatile market situations, and they adhere to strict capital requirements since it is regulated by ASIC.

I prefer trading with an ECN pricing broker because most of them provide lower spreads. For example, I currently trade with FP Markets, an ASIC broker that offers some of the lowest spreads in both Major and minor currency pairs.

I prefer day trading method because the profit earned in day trading has been more than in scalping, and it is suitable for regular working traders because it is long term and not minute based.

To trade in forex, both knowledge and brokers are important. So it is important to use your forex knowledge and trade with a reliable broker.

Does FP Markets provide any deposit bonus/commission rebates for new clients? Any idea if FP Markets' European clients can get higher leverage as CYSEC usually restricts it to 30?

Based on my personal experience FP Markets has been pretty good, I've been trading with them for close to a year now. And about the reliability, you don't really have to worry much as FP Markets adhere to strict capital requirements and is regulated ASIC and CYSEC (EU)

Earning in Demo because its for practice and skill development tools, the demo is a similar tool like the live. But when you enter into the live trading, it wont be simple as it was in demo and its never going to be an easy task to earn money on live like the Demo account.
