I have forgotten when last time I used demo account, I am so much into OctaFX broker’s demo contest like Southampton Supreme that I haven’t been required to put time into ordinary demo anymore and I believe it’s not even needed. I can practice well on their demo contest especially Southampton Supreme, it’s happening every week on Monday, so I can get great scalping practice and have unlimited prizes, but there are longer contest as well like Champion where there is 1000 dollar prize pool, so this is ideal for long term practicing, it’s so fun and enjoyable with such contest, I believe we can learn so much through these and helps in basically every manner we can think about.

Forex is not a single business that’s risky, it’s every business which is risky, we just need to understand that if we trade with proper method and strategy then we will definitely be able to work out things, but without a logical plan we will find it too risky. The best way we can learn to reduce risk is through proper plans and executing it correctly, it’s not straight forward but if we have passion then we can definitely build it up. It can be and should be in latter part of our career, but for starters we should not think too much about these things or else it could cause trouble and bring unnecessary pressure on our head. I am operating their ECN account only and it is quite cool with no tension or stress of re-quotes or delay while so far the slippage has been minimum, I won’t say It’s zero but at least from my experience with other brokers it is lowest and thing that one should not really notice much while we can also get 50% cash back on all trading orders, so that makes it even better.

Kim, I think that is wise thing to do, but still 3-4 brokers are bit too much for my liking. I am working with one broker from last 3 years, I do have multiple accounts with OctaFX broker, I feel pretty comfortable given I get all my payments instantly, so that really helps me work well knowing I will get all my payments instantly. I still won’t say your idea is entirely wrong or bad, but at times it is too hectic to concentrate on that many brokers especially in early stage of our career, if we get settled than what you said is right and we should try to work on various brokers, but at present I am really satisfied with OctaFX broker.

Prissila, I believe bonuses are important part of things and can make huge difference to how we trade, but I don’t get what’s the point of bonus you are mentioning, I mean by the conditions, as far I read it correctly we are unable to use it, therefore I see no point in using it since it won’t benefit us in any way at all. At the moment I am using OctaFX broker with their 50% bonus which is also use able, so that really makes me work nicely and allows me the freedom and it is also able for withdrawal after we complete certain required lot size, I believe this is the type of bonuses that we need and help us in improving.

I believe the word IF is really important because there can be a lot of things for which we can use IF this happened or if that happened, but we need to live in reality and don’t worry too much on that IF especially when it rarely works. I think removing greed completely is not an easy job and the sooner we understand this, the better we will be. Now controlling greed is obviously possible and that’s what most expert do, but again we need to be strong to handle it. I am not iron man, but still with help of OctaFX and their demo contest, I get regular practice which enables me to face up issues that greed creates and tackle them well.
