I'm amateur forex trader too. I'm still learning to become a good trader and can make some money in this business. I agree with you, new trader like me must learn the basic first and then go to the expert. After learning for a while it make me think that forex is not an instant way to become a rich. It needs an effort for to learn and learn new thing in forex. Also it will easier to learn forex from a good mentor, but it costs me very expensive and I choose to learn another trader experience from forums.

I'm nubie too in this business so this thread is very useful to me. I heard and found in internet, many of them suggest to newbie to learn the basic part first, train the mentally and patience, also discipline with own trading strategy. Wait for the best setup first then enter the market comfortably but this part is the most difficult because I still impatience. I hardly make a profit return in every month, always end in loss every month.

There are some favourite pairs that I have, AU, GU, EU, ECHF, and EJ. But I like GU and EU mostly, same with you. Because this pair was the first I known and trade in forex. The time when this pairs move volatility was around noon time in my place, so it suit with my local time and I focus to trade it.

I use 0.5 lot per trade that cause me a 2% risk of my account. If I can make my account bigger then I will increase my lot size to earn more profit. I feel little unsatisfied with my current trade because I only get small amount of money in my single trade because I have a mini size account. Hope can develop my account into a big and can use this business to fulfill my life.

That's true, using a big capital will give us a big profit in return. But also cause a huge risky in every trade,. Compounding our money is a one way to build our account bigger and bigger, but in compounding our money the risk that we can accept must be considered, I think risking only 1-2% of our total amount will be a good one.

My opinion, demo and real account has a different feeling. But if you can trade a demo acc like a real acc with the mentally and discipline then the demo acc will build you a great confident to trade in real acc. Demo acc is very usfeul to prepare our mentally and can help us to train and develop our own trading system into the best shape. After that we can use it in real account and trade comfortably in there.

I'm a technical trader because hardly to learn the fundamental part. I use a candlestick chart and only use standard indicator. My open position is base on the price action combine it with a S/R line and trendline. Using much indicator make me fell pain, I can hardly see the clear candle or movement price. So I decided to use only 2 indi and all are standard indicator. Still learning the characteristic of the price action and far from the profit. Techinal is hard but I think not as hard as fundamental.

I prefer the live mentor because I can interact directly either through verbal or practice. I can ask my question more specific and show where I did not understand. Of course I will get better answers than with an online mentor cause an online mentor is separate by a far place where we can only communicate with words.

@yogesh I agreed with you, there is always a balance number between buyer and seller. So if I place a sell order and close my trade as a profit then my profit is come from other people stop loss, and vice versa. That's true that every our trade must be analysis first with all the current market condition, if meet the open position criteria then we can enter the market comfortably. winzpc

I think demo account must be the first step for all new traders. Demo account is very important and must be assume as a live account, If we can than we can train our mentally to be discipline and patience. Also in demo account we can forward test our own trading system, so we can develop it into a profitable system. After that can be use in live account to make more profit.. winzpc

I have been trading forex for 6 months and still far from the profit. I still can't make a profit consistantly, one month get a profit trade but the next month I loss as much as profit I earn. I have tried different strategy, using much indicator but still can't trade forex well. I still hope to become a good trader and trade for living. Hi, I also a nubie trader. I think the best way for nubie like me to learn the basic knowledge and practicing this forex business with demo account. Prove in demo account that I can make a profitable trade consistently in every month. Using a right money management, also try to make own system trading. Beside that our own personality must be trained to be more patience and discipline. winzpc

I agree with you, everytime someone loss in their trade then otherone will earn that because is always balance between the BUY and SELL order, it's like stock. So I think broker earn money from the spread and swap. Yeah, forex is very risky and much trade lose in this business. I think that 95% trader lose the trade because they think forex is an easy business and didn't learn the forex basic. Seeing many professional trader that can make a huge profit and they want too be like the pro one. But they don't know how the progress that the pro trader have done to become a successful trader. winzpc

You means that I can make as much as post in there and the admin will surely pay me, maybe around 50 posts per day. I'm new in here and just found this thread with an interesting betting flipping coin discussion. I agree with you that this betting game is give a 50-50 chance and also I think is a risky game. But I hesitant to join it because I though it's very hard to win the system. Then I found many payment proof in here that means a lot of member can win in this bet and I think I will give it try.

I like to trade forex using Daily Timeframe. The lowest timeframe I trade is H1, lower than H1 is very hard for me. I agree with you that timeframe is one of the important thing in trading forex. In my opinion, each timeframe has a different characteristic, so my trading strategy also different in each timeframe especially for the SL and TP place. winzpc

hi andry777, I'm a nubie trader and still in demo account. I think demo account is the best way to learn how to trade in forex for nubie stats. For me to step into live account, I must prove myself to become a profitable trader in demo account and if I can make a profitable trade 5 month in row. Then I will try to open a micro live account. So for me, there is time limit in using a demo account.

I will choose both. HYIP and forex are categorized as risky investments. When I earn some profit from forex, I will invest my profit into HYIP. So I can get more money from this both business, but also have the risk to loss all my money.

It is the ultimate goal for all forex traders can make a proftable trade That is the ultimate goal of every forex trader to earn a consistent profit. I'm sure you can do it, but all it needs is a process leading to the stage. In my opinion, the key to become a profitable trade in forex is inside us such as dicipline and patience. I think to get a daily profit in every single trade must be using a scalping way but also need an effort like time to monitoring continuously the trade.
