Agree with this. On a demo account we can do all these. And demo is the best for forward testing. And I am one of those who values having the ability to use a demo account.

Majority traders in the market lose money. It am not putting a number like others as it would say 5% or something like that. But small portion of traders who are making profit from the market are earning decent amount.

Well patience is necessary but it does not keep us alive in the market. A good money management does. As one can not have 100% successful trades the same way one also can't have 100% loosing trades. In between a good money management can pull things which people may not even think about.

Non dealing desk brokers: earn money though spread & commissions. Dealing desk broker: earn by trading against their traders.

For some sharks gamblers are good. lol They know how to devour them. The thing is gamblers may succeed for a short while but in the long run, gamblers doesn't stand a chance in this marketplace.

It is not wise to trust bactesting results all the time. Backtesting results can be optimized for better performance of an EA. Traders should also keep that in mind.

Leverage more than 1:400 is unnecessary in my opinion. That's what I need. Different traders may have different need.

I am also against trading with robots. But in copy trading service, not everyone trades with robots. There are many traders who trade manually on copy trading service.

Don't fix a time frame to learn forex. It is also suggested to trade at least 3 months in some forex schools but my suggestion is that take as much time as needed. May it be 1 month or 1 year. Make sure you can take profit out of the market first.

Any kind of slippage, I dislike it. Though negative slippage during entry and positive slippage during exit gives few extra bucks but I better hold on to what I can make.

Well I always suggest people to avoid dealing desk brokers. When a broker is against you then you chances of success becomes very thin. Make it as good as possible.

You don't need a demo account to backtest your strategy. Just run the strategy tester in MT4. For forward testing we need a demo account. And many experienced traders do this as well.

The only reason I am in this business is because I want financial freedom. And the goal I have set for myself is not easy to achieve. I know I have to fall over and over again. But I need to get it right just once.

Well I avoid trading during the news hours. I agree that good money can be made from news trading and some people are making good money at retail levels. But it's not for me. Slippages create disturbance on my risk.
