Knowledge basically equips one for the needed experience. When experience is gained, knowledge is then translated to attitude as experiences have direct bearing on our senses and will. Thus an experienced trader knows beyond doubt that luck is non-existent in forex.

Either of these two has its disadvantages and advantages over against the other. However, I think the low minimum investment capital of forex gives it an advantage and makes it popular among younger people nowadays. Buying stock require larger capital and it's also susceptible to financial cruch, unlike forex trading which is unaffected by this.

Forex becoming one's main job or not is rather a case of choice than the prospects. Many, there are who have made forex trading their main stay job. However much more people adopt forex as another source of income. I belong to this category. I don't see forex being my main job.

I have had the bitter taste of HYIPs and truly I would not place the two side by side for comparison. An investment where you're not in control as in HYIP, places you at a disadvantage end. We may not have to pay (I mean money) to know the basics of forex trading. I, for example, this forum and others like it have widen my horizon in forex.

The truth has just been told here. If you will earn money, you would have to trade live account. This, though comes with its peculiar risks, it's the surest way to earn money as a forex trader. It's in these risks that your money lies.

@chintu: That's the truth. No one can begin trading live account at the onset of his/her forex trading and succeed on the go. It requires that a trader first get himself/herself acquinted to trading patterns and skills via demo trading. Demo trading is not only for trying new strategies.

There's always a place of 'greed' in trading forex, but such must come with adequate analysis and information. The argument is that we must not let our greed take charge of us rather we should subject our greed to critical analysis. Sometimes we must take the long leap!

@hadg33: I checked the link provided and saw that truly this program has gone scam. Just when it's almost at the BEP. It's so very risky these days to trust any hyip even if plan or ROI seems sustainable.

When programs turn scam this way, it really bother me if there's no such way to screen and certify/regulate them - hyips. Programs like this one don't ever last. But it's ironical that a lot rush into get-rich-quick hyips like this one. We must be really careful.

The truth is that every investor's wish and aspirations is to see that this investment program continues to pay them. I just hope that the admin continues to show committment to ensuring that the program continues to run and investors are paid continually.

Money has a way of keeping one wanting to earn or have more of it. So it is in forex trading. We must long to prosper in our financial quest as a trader but there must be a distinction between aspiring to succeed and greed. Greed ends up ruining a traders' hopes.
