Alexa ranking can be the rough information to see how popular a website is. But, there is a weakness I can see here, some programs require members to go online more often in order to increase the ranking on Alexa. The lower the number the more traffic you are getting with it honestly. That's how it works in reality, but it's really old school and not informative.
