you guys are awesome, i figured everyone would tell me to not even try and be annoyed by my highschool unpuncuated typing. im very enthused and have been reading forex for dummies = ). very excited to learn. it will deffently be a few months before i can buy anything but hopefully i will have a good idea what to buy when the time comes. People my age, puts my mind at ease to know that some one from my generation thinks a little like me .

I was wondering if any of you have come across any good books that I could pick up and peruse to gain some more knowledge before I give this thing a go. Ive been reading Stock Jock-e's threads and absorbing the information as sponge like as I could, but I want more. Any recommendations you guys have would rock!!

Do brokerage firms allow you to hold a long and short position at same time. For ex, already have a long position and future is bright, but short term the market is pulling a particular stock down and I want to short it to capitalize this for quick profit or am I just being greedy.
