The move is just one room, so it's not too hard to do myself, but I don't want to risk breaking anything or taking too long. It'd be great if someone could help me out with something like this—if it's better to hire movers or just do it myself. Any thoughts? The main thing is to organize your move in advance so that you have time to pack everything up at home and then unpack it all when you reach your new place. Pro movers are trained in how to pack your belongings so they don't get damaged during transit, and they have experience working with different kinds of furniture and appliances. They know how to load trucks so everything fits together snugly without causing damage, too—and they'll unload your stuff at the end of your journey so you don't have to worry about all that heavy lifting yourself!
