Dear traders!
“999” demo-contest has been lasting for two weeks. Contestants from all over the world are struggling for the leadership in the contest and its prizes – 555 USD, 333 USD, 111 USD and for the encouraging prize - FBS MasterCard.
As of today three contestants are holding the leading positions: a trader from Malaysia with account number 223076 (balance - 604612.91 USD), a contestant from Colombia with account number 222259 (balance – 577217.83 USD) and a trader from Iraq with account number 222865 (balance – 486860.71 USD).
In one of the previous contests a trader from Russia set a record in profit made (1167526.80 USD). Only time will tell who is going to break his record. Our contestants have 2 weeks left till the end of the contest to do their best.

Forecast contest (USDCAD)
Take part in a forecast contest.
The idea of the contest is pretty simple: guess the price of USDCAD on Friday, February 10th (right after the closing of trading).
Your answers are accepted from 19.01.12 to 03.02.12.
- The winner will get 150 USD to his/her trading account from FBS. The funds can be used for trading or withdrawn.
- All the registered members of forumfortrader are allowed to take part.
- Each participant have the right to post his/her guess UNLIMITED NUMBER OF TIMES, but only the last contestant’s guess will be taken into account.
- Your guesses are taken within 4 digits after the decimal point. For example: 1,2833 or 1,4458. The correct answer will determined from BID price (bid price is shown on the chart in the trading platform).
- If the is no absolutely correct answer, the winner will be announce a contestant with THE CLOSEST GUSESS to correct answer. If there are few contestants with the same answer, the winner will be announced a contestant with the earliest answer.
- Contest results will be published on the 13rd of January.

Dear traders!
As usual due to the Xmas and New Year celebration the schedule of trading and trading conditions will be changed. Please make sure to read it and modify your trading accordingly.
Holidays schedule:
Friday, December 23, 2011 – trading is closed at the usual time
Monday, December 26, 2011 — trading is opened at 09:00 (GMT+2, terminal time)
Friday, December 30, 2011 — trading is closed at the usual time
December 31, 2011 — January 1, 2012: New Year's Holiday
Monday, January 2, 2012 — trading is opened at 03:00 (GMT+2, terminal time)
Customer and Financial departments operate as usual.
In case the usual market schedule changes, FBS has the right to make amendments.
Due to traditionally low liquidity and high market volatility from 26th of December 2011 to 2nd of January 2012, it can lead to the increase of margin requirement to 1:100, spread widening, the increase of pending orders level (Stop & Freeze Levels). Trading some instruments can be closed in this period of time.
FBS recommends to hold margin level no less than 500% and, if possible, to reduce market total position.
