  1. I prefer using the volume and price action strategy for scalping. This strategy uses volume indicators to look for price action.

Technically, low volume is followed by high volume and then price action in the short term and not necessarily in the long term, which makes it highly useful for forex scalpers.

  2. I recommend trying FP markets. I've traded with both FP Markets and IC. The spreads and commissions are lower when compared to ICM. FP Markets charges $3 per lot, whereas IC charges $3.5.

The spreads are similar, averaging around 0.1-0.3 pips, but FP markets' spreads in EURUSD drop as low as 0.0 pips with an execution speed of 28ms.

  3. I prefer trading manually since the broker FP Markets I use provides some of the best trading conditions with tight spreads.

An EA is also suitable since it makes trading simple with ease, but I avoid EAs since they also cause confusion and might miss certain high profitable trades.

  4. From my perspective, demo trading is the best way a beginner can experience how live trading works. If a trader decides to trade in a live account without using a demo account, it will look like a betting game by just guessing to buy or sell at a particular period, and by doing so, there will be more losses than profit.

  5. Forex is the largest market in the world and there are many new brokers in the market and traders find it difficult to find a suitable broker since there are also scammer brokers.

I now trade with FP Markets, an ASIC broker that has been active for over 12 years with competitive spreads and commission cost, the customer service is also quick in responding to issues.

  6. I have been scalping with FP Markets for 2 years and I personally find it suitable because the spreads are lower, starting from 0.0 pips in most major pairs like EURUSD, JPYUSD, etc..

Their execution speed is faster and the commission cost per round lot is lower than most ecn brokers, which is at $6 per round lot.

  7. For older brokers, I suggest trading with ICM or FP Markets. They are some of the oldest brokers, active for over ten years. ICM has been active since 2007 and FP Markets since 2005.

They are both regulated by ASIC and provide some of the tightest spreads, averaging 0.2 pips, with the lowest commission costs when compared to most ECN brokers.

  8. There are several brokers that offer free demo accounts for traders to learn about forex trading or about the platforms. For certain brokers like Avatrade and FP Markets, they also provide e-books, video tutorials, and other educational materials for traders venturing into forex for the first time.

  9. I have currently been trading with FP Markets for two months. So far, the experience has been good. The withdrawals and deposits are smooth without any issues.

The customer service is reliable. They are prompt in answering my queries, quicker than usual, even through emails and live chat.

  10. I'm a beginner in forex and was looking for a broker to start live trading with and came across FP Markets. I checked reviews and ratings, which were mostly positive.

Anyone currently trading with them experienced any problems when trading live, and are the spreads stable as mentioned on their website?
