    Singapore Inflation Eases More Than Expected Singapore's inflation fell back more than expected in October, the latest figures from the Department of Statistics revealed Friday. The rate of inflation, measured by the all-items consumer price index, slowed to 4 percent in October from 4.7 percent in the previous month. Economists expected the rate to fall to 4.5 percent. On a monthly basis, the CPI fell 0.2 percent. The index, excluding accommodation, rose 3.3 percent on an annual basis and was down 0.4 percent month-on-month. The Monetary Authority of Singapore's core inflation measure rose 2.2 percent year-on-year and was up 0.1 percent on a monthly basis in October. News are provided by InstaForex.
