Hello everyone.

I’ve been working on several projects involving precision machining and wanted to open a discussion about the best techniques for achieving high accuracy and surface finish. When it comes to milling and turning parts what factors do you find most critical such as tool selection, feed rates, material type, or machine calibration?

Additionally, how do you handle tight tolerances and minimize tool wear during long production runs?

I’d love to hear insights from experienced machinists and engineers about the latest advancements or tips that can improve efficiency and consistency in both milling and turning operations.
