Felix Posted February 11, 2022 Share Posted February 11, 2022 To truly learn how to windsurf means... you are so good, confident and experienced that you can jump on any type of board (wave, slalom, freestyle, speed, racing) in any wind on any water (lake, ocean, river, lagoon, bay) and you can just go. However, over time, lighter materials have been developed and are now used to make boards for beginners and advanced riders alike. Today, a modern windsurfboard can be made from Styrofoam, fiberglass, PVC, or carbon fiber, with the addition of wood veneer.
