The only downside of bonuses are the restrictions like quotas you need to meet before you can withdraw the profit. But as long as your read and follow the T&Cs of the broker you can take advantage of the bonus. I personally used 50% deposit bonus from Trade12. I heard several complaints how they can't withdraw but most of them are silly stories about how they tried to withdraw after getting the bonus without even trading. Sure a broker wouldn't give free money just for you to withdraw as soon as you got them. Still make trades and generate profit to hit the quota and your free to go. Having bonuses usually doesn't require that kind of  quotas, it based on how much money you invest or from the forum that affiliated with the broker you are now using, moreover the bonus is not withdrawable, only the profit which withdrawable.
