jaffcristan Posted April 17, 2012 Share Posted April 17, 2012 In response to the need to be seen reducing their own carbon footprint, some global brands of printer cartridges, for example Hewlett Packard, have been helping their customers to reduce waste by manufacturing more than 1 billion ink cartridges made from recycled plastic. Consequently, it is estimated that a 22 per cent reduction of carbon footprint and a 69 per cent reduction in total water use together with public recycling, has prevented some 160 million HP ink cartridges from ending up in landfills.
