At the moment i think it as neutral thing not something like friend, it's something that we should find and follow but not as friend. I agree with aliforex, until the end when it bends your trend is not your friend anymore, but if your open position not in the same position like your trend (rising trend = BUY, falling trend = SELL) you won't see it as friend and against it. Trend is what we are looking for, trying to analyze the market and see if that makes some trend and predict the price movement.
