  1. In my opinion, it is Skilling and FP Markets because they both are regulated by ASIC and the customer service has been disappointing, even though the reviews give positive feedback about their customer service.

The only main reason I use FP Market is because the spreads are tighter, starting at 0.0 pips, and the execution speed is faster at 28 ms.

  2. I rate my broker 4.5/5 based on their reliability, trading conditions, and cost. I mostly scalp with it and the commission costs with spreads are lower than most ECN brokers.

It is one of the oldest brokers active for over 12 years with regulation from ASIC, and I have never come across any major issues with them for the past year.

  3. The most important thing that we have to know is that our psychology when trading with a demo account and a real account is different. Using a demo account when trading has no risk, so traders do let emotions and pressure get to them.

When trading live with real money, however, there is risk involved, and traders feel the pressure and allow emotions to take over, which can lead to mistakes.

  5. There are a few brokers that I have come across in my trading experience. CMC Markets, Vantage and FP Markets are reliable brokers to trade with that have good trading conditions, especially FP Markets' customer service is quick in responding to queries, even through emails.

  6. There is no guide on choosing a broker, the best way to choose your broker is to do research and try several brokers' demo accounts and invest in a few to find the suitable broker.

For example, I was previously trading with XM and due to certain conditions, I moved to FP markets because the commission costs are lower and the trading conditions are more robust, which is suitable for a scalper like me.

  7. It is good that many traders prefer regulated and experienced brokers because there are many new brokers in the market that are either unregulated or offer bonuses with a catch that traders are unaware of before investing.

I recommend trading with ICM it is regulated by ASIC, CYSEC and has been active in forex since 2007. Or you can trade with FP Markets, which is also regulated by ASIC, CYSEC and has been active for over 15 years.

  8. I've been scalping with FP Markets for close to a year and I still find it suitable because the spreads average around 0.3 pips with lower slippage in most major currency pairs.

The execution speed is pretty fast and the commission costs are lower than with my previous broker. It costs only $6 per round lot, whereas I used to pay around $7-$8 with my previous broker.
